Spending the Summer in San Diego
When you visit San Diego for the first time, you might wonder how to pack all there is to do in just a few short days. A good option is simply staying month to month in San Diego by checking out one of the various monthly hotels that are available in the city. If you’re spending a couple of months in San Diego, here’s some things to add to your bucket list.
- Take a ride on the Bay. Visiting the San Diego Bay is a great place to start as here, you’ll enjoy sights of the downtown skyline, Seaport Village, Embarcadero, Cabrillo National Monument and more. Choose from a leisurely harbor cruise, sailboat or the Seal Tours, which take you on a tour both on land and sea!
- Visit Balboa Park. Check out the nation’s largest urban cultural park including the iconic San Diego Zoo, 15 museums, a renowned performing arts venue and various bardens including rose gardens and desert gardens among others. During the summer there are exciting events held on weekends including Food Truck Fridays.
Catch a Padres Game at Petco Park. The baseball field is located in downtown, with the historic Gaslamp Quarter just steps away so fun activities and entertainment to enjoy with friends before or after the game are easy to find.
