San Diego Zoo Food & Wine Celebration

While staying in Downtown San Diego, come down to the San Diego Zoo and celebrate their 100 year anniversary in style. This year, the zoo will be celebrating with drinks and delicious food from over 150 local restaurants as well as wineries and breweries. San Diego’s Wildest Tasting Event will include food, live entertainment and of course, the opportunity to see exotic animals! The San Diego Zoo’s tasting event will on September 24th. Tickets for the event are now on sale.

For 100 years, the San Diego Zoo has been helping to create an environment that is safe for animals and family friendly. In recent years, the zoo has been consistently named as one of the top zoos in the entire world. In order to help celebrate all that the zoo has achieved, they are inviting the community for an evening of fun in the sun. Enjoy bits from restaurants such as Blue Point Coastal Cuisine, Casa de Pico, El Torito, Flavors of East Africa, Luna Grill, Pacific Beach AleHouse, Solare, and Viva el Cafe just to name a few. Wine and beer will be provided from companies such as Ballast Point, Brutocao Cellars, Falkner Winery, Golden Coast Mead, The Henry Wine Group, Mission Brewery and Saint Archer Brewing Co. During the evening, there will also be live music at each Zoo zone throughout the party. Throughout, there will also be opportunities to get up close and personal with various animals that call the zoo their home. There will also be fun activities like the Pick Your Prize drawing or stop by the Critter Casino to try your hand at classic casino games.

The San Diego Zoo’s Food, Wine & Brew celebration will take place on September 24th from 7:30-11pm. The event is 21 and over. VIP tickets for this event are available. With a VIP ticket, you get early access to the event as well as fun accessories that are provided by the zoo. You will also be able to collect the money that you win from the Casino.
