Take advantage of the sightseeing tours. When you hop aboard one of the many options in the city, it’s a great way to get a feel of San Diego and to learn something new. If you have a busy day of sightseeing planned, a casual ride on a tour bus is also a great way to relax for a bit. Popular sightseeing tours include San Diego Seal Tours, Hornblower Cruises, Flagship Cruises and the Old Town Trolleytours.
Enjoy the nice weather by taking a bike ride along the beach. Exploring the beach communities by renting a bike is an affordable and fun way to get around. Bike through areas such as Coronado, Mission and Pacific beaches. There are a number of bike-sharing stations located throughout the city.
The San Diego Zoo has been ranked as one of the best Zoos in the world. The zoo is family friendly and there are even some fun events that are 18 and over as well as 21 and over if you’re looking for something with a little less kids and a little more options from the bar.
San Diego is more than just its beaches. While the beaches are fantastic, if you’re into hiking or want to explore, there are options for that as well! One popular destination is the Torrey Pines State Reserve. Here, you get the best of both worlds with hiking trails and wildlife looking out onto the Pacific Ocean. The area makes for some stunning sunsets as well. Other hiking locations include Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve and the Mission Trails Kwaay Paay Peak hike.
