Ringing in the Holidays During Jungle Bells

If you are looking for a way to celebrate the holidays, then look no further than Jungle Bells at the San Diego Zoo. This zoo has been ranked one of the best zoo’s in the entire world and now this year they are offering a number of fun and festive, family friendly activities to enjoy. Stop by the San Diego Zoo this holiday season from December 10th through January 2nd to enjoy Jungle Bells. This means that those who will be staying at one of the long-term stay hotels in the area have plenty of time to visit!

From beautiful decorations to fun holiday performances, this year the San Diego Zoo has been transformed into a holiday wonderland. There are a number of activities that you and your family can enjoy when you come down to Jungle Bells. One of these activities is the Northern Frontier’s Holiday Forest. Every night during Jungle Bells from 3-8pm walk through this specially designed area that is filled with twinkling lights and is a great area to take holiday photos! There are a number of animal encounters that you and your family can enjoy. At these encounters, listen to zoo keepers tell their stories and watch them interact with animals such as racoons, polar bears, cheetahs, rhinos and more. Don’t forget to stop by Santa’s Igloo for a photo op!

Aside from these fun activities, don’t miss out on the entertainment that is in store for your family such as a show from Jingle Brass. Come catch some jazzy carols that are sure to get the holiday spirit at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 at the front Street stage. For a fun light show that is set to a medley of holiday classic tunes, don’t miss the “Carol of the Jungle Bells” light experience. Catch a show from the Tinseltones at the Wegeforth Bowl at 6pm and here the acapella group sing some of your favorite carols. Enjoy everything at the San Diego Zoo this holiday.
