With the holiday season well underway, plans are starting to be made and finalized. Do you know what you will be doing to ring in the new year? If you need a little help figuring things out, don’t worry, there are a number of New Year’s Eve events in San Diego for you to choose from!

Looking to spend the New Year with friends at one of the hottest dance parties of the year? If so, consider getting tickets to the OMFG! NYE 2016 at the Valley View Casino Center. This 18 and over three day event brings together some of the best names in Electronic, EDM, dubstep and more. Each night the party begins at 9pm and doesn’t stop until 4am. If you are instead looking for a more family-friendly event, look no further than LEGOLAND’s Kid’s New Year’s Eve. This celebration is just for the kids with quintessential events occurring all without your kids missing their bedtime. There will be live music, a fireworks display, and even a recreation of the Times Square ball drop with a giant LEGO brick falling from over 20 feet in the air! The countdown will begin at 6pm.

If you and your friends want to dress up, head over to the Maritime Museum’s “Black and Gold” New Year’s Eve Party. Climb aboard the Berkeley, a 1989 Steam Ferry that has been transformed into a classy lounge. there will be live DJs as well as fun opportunities for photo booth pictures with friends and even the opportunity to participate in drawings. If you want a romantic way to spend the day, take to the sea and enjoy a luxurious yacht ride with your partner. You can choose from two options: the first includes a dinner with a band while the second includes a dinner with a DJ.
