spending a month in San Diego

Whether you want to get out and explore nature or you want to sit back and enjoy delicious food, San Diego has got it all. One of the great things about San Diego is that there is so much to do and see here. If you’re here for just a week or if you are even spending a month in San Diego and beyond, there’s always something new and exciting waiting right around the corner.

One must stop place to do is visiting Balboa Park. At this one stop 1,200 acre urban park, you’ll have to come back multiple times just to experience it all. Not only this a beautiful park with a number of different gardens and walking paths, this is also a cultural center with many museums to choose from as well. Museums such as the as San Diego Natural History Museum and the Science Center are just some of the museums you can enjoy while at Balboa park.

Enjoy the beaches and wildlife in a number of different ways. For example, head to the shore and go whale watching! There are a number of different tours that you can hop on in order to get a closer look of the whales that migrate right off the coast. You can also consider taking a ferry to Coronado Island. Step aboard a boat for a quick ride over and spend the day exploring Coronado, one of San Diego’s best beaches.

San Diego is also becoming more and more known for their micro-brewery scene. Consider taking a craft beer tour so you can stop at a number of different breweries all in one go. Some of breweries you can visit include Stone Brewing Co., Saint Archer, Rip Current, The Lost Abbey and more. With over 100 breweries in the area, there will always be something new to try.
