The Haunted Hotel in SD

October 5, 2015

If you are searching for a night of thrills and chills, look no further than The Haunted Hotel. Known as the longest running haunted house in all of San Diego, it is the only place you should consider going for a night of scary fun. This year, they are even adding a new attraction for guests to enjoy. The Haunted Hotel will be open from September 25th through November 1st.

The Haunted Hotel was rated as one of the top 13 interactive haunted house experiences in all of America according to Haunt World Magazine. Travel through the slaughterhouse, make your way through the Dissector’s Autopsy Morgue, try to survive the brand new Doll Island, and take a ride with demented clowns. In addition to these haunting experiences, prepare yourself for the brand new thrill, The Great Escape. When you take part in the Great Room Escape, you and a group of people will be locked in a room for 1 hour. Through a series of puzzles and clues, you will have to solve your way out of the room!

The Haunted Hotel is open Sunday through Thursday from 7pm – 11pm. On Friday and Saturday, the Haunted Hotel will be open from 6pm – 1am. The only exception is that the Haunted Hotel will be closed on Monday, October 27th and Tuesday, October 28th. The closer it is to Halloween the more packed the Haunted Hotel becomes. If you’re staying in one of the extended stays near the Gaslamp Quarter, get your tickets to an earlier date. When this occurs, the line to enter can last 30 minutes to much longer. In order to avoid this, you can either purchase your tickets online to avoid the initial line to purchase tickets or you can purchase a Fast Pass that will put you straight to the front of the entrance line. General admission is $18 and a Fast Pass is $28. The Haunted Hotel is recommended for children 10 and older. Bring your friends and don’t miss out on this scary event!

If you can handle the frights of the Haunted Hotel, then you will enjoy the stay in San Diego!
