Halloween Events In San Diego
With October upon us, it is time to get ready for the Halloween season! If you are wondering what to do for Halloween in San Diego, the city has put together a number of events that will be happening throughout the month. Here are some Halloween Events to keep an eye out on in San Diego.
At the Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, bring the whole family down for some spooky science. This event will take place on October 21st and 22nd from 6-9pm. During Spooky Science, you will be able to make your own seaweed slime to take home with you as well as other fun activities such as discovering organisms using a 3-D microscope, checking out glow in the dark ocean critters and getting up close with a giant squid! For another family-friendly event, head down to Main Street on Friday, October 21st from 5pm-10pm for the annual Hauntfest. At the Hauntfest you and your family can search the pumpkin patch until you find the perfect one! Grab a couple and turn them into jack-o-lanterns for a fun, family activity! Feel to dress up as there will even be a costume contest! There will even be cash prizes given out for the best costume. The costume contest is for parents and children alike. At the Gaslamp district, enjoy some 21+ over fun for the San Diego Zombie Crawl.
