The Farmers Insurance Open Golf Tournament

January 12, 2016

If you enjoy golf, you probably also enjoy being a spectator at a professional game. What could be better than watching some of your favorite golfers take on the green? The Farmers Insurance Open takes place every year in San Diego and is one of the first tournaments on the PGA tour. Known as the “West Coast Swing”, being a spectator for this event is something you are not going to want to miss! Get your tickets today for the Farmer’s Insurance Open that will occur from January 28th through the 31st.

This event is not like your typical golf tournament. At the Farmers Insurance Open, being a spectator means you can have a great time with friends at The Fringe. The Fringe is the most popular spectator destination at the Torrey Pines Golf Course. The Fringe is an open air, high energy sports bar that is located on the 15th green. The Fringe gives you an excellent, up close view of the 15th hole while having the opportunity to socialize with friends and family as you drink a cold one. There is a full bar and food that is available for purchase for guests to enjoy.

Opening day of the Farmer’s Insurance Open is on Thursday, January 28th. The gates will open at 7am and the opening ceremonies will be at 8:15 am at the 1st Tee South. The opening round will be at 8:30am at the North and South Courses. On Friday, January 29th, gates will once again open at 7am. The second round will be at the North and South courses at 8:30am. On Saturday, January 30th the third round will take place on the South Course at 8:30am. Gates will open at 7am. The final day of the tournament will be on Sunday, January 31st.
