With shopping opportunities and a variety of eateries to choose from, Seaport Village is a quaint area to walk around and to do some people watching as well. While there are many things to do with a significant other such as stopping by a gallery or a romantic restaurant, there are also many family activities as well. For example, you and your kids can spend some time on the carousel or you can get a memento to remember your time in San Diego by getting a caricature done of your family. Another beloved attraction is the balloon artist that is often located around the carousel. If you are looking for something else, consider getting your face painted! If this is your first time heading to Seaport Village, here are some things you should know. One of the best things about Seaport Village is that it is free and open to the public. One thing to know is that Seaport Village is huge. In all, the village is 14 acres and it’s filled with fun things for you and your family to enjoy. Explore the dining options, boutiques, and sometimes there are even live music events! Validated parking is $5 for the first 3 hours and $3 every 30 minutes thereafter Monday-Thursday.Validated self-parking is $5 for the first 2 hours or and $3 every 30 minutes thereafter Friday-Sunday.
