One of the things that makes San Diego such a unique city is that there are so many museums for people to visit. If you have been waiting for an opportunity to visit one of the many museums in the area, than February is a good time to go. This is because Musuem Month is officially right around the corner!

During Museum Month, guests can enjoy half off the admission price to all participating museums in the area. Here’s how it works. All you have to do is go to any Macy’s store in the San Diego Area, Temecula and Imperial Valley. When you do, simply pick up a pass, and take it with you to any of the participating museums. When you show the ticket office your pass, you will be able to get half off the admission price. The best part is, you can use the pass all month long. In addition, with each pass, you can take up to four visitors with you and you can all get the half-off promotion! But hurry, the passes are only available while supplies last.

There are over 45 participating museums for Museum Month sponsored by Macy’s. Whatever your interest, you will be able to find a museum that has what you are looking for.  While staying in San Diego, you want to take advantage of this offer and visit one or more of these museums in February. Want to take a quiet afternoon and enjoy nature? If so, stop by the Japanese Friendship Garden in Downtown San Diego. Are you instead looking to see some contemporary art? Than take a trip to the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, La Jolla. Other museums that are participating in this event include the Coronado Museum of History & Art, the Gaslamp Museum at William heath dAvis House, the Junipero Serra Museum, the La Jolla Historical society, the LUX Art Institute, the Museum of Photographic Arts, the Oceanside Museum of Art, The New Children’s Museum, the Veteran’s Museum & Memorial Center, the Water Conservation Garden and many, many more!
